Issuance Schedule for the New Series of Bank of Japan Notes

The Bank of Japan will start issuing the new series of Bank of Japan notes in around the first half of July 2024.

The date of issuance will be announced when the necessary preparations have been completed.

The Bank of Japan notes currently in circulation will remain valid after the new series are issued.
